The CO₂ laser marking machine uses CO₂ gas as the laser medium, with a wavelength of 10.6um, belonging to the mid infrared frequency band. The CO₂ laser has relatively high power and electro-optical conversion efficiency. The CO₂ laser uses CO₂ gas as the working substance, and fills the discharge tube with CO₂ gas and other auxiliary gases. When a high voltage is applied to the electrode, a glow discharge is generated in the discharge tube, which can cause gas molecules to release laser light. After amplifying the released laser energy, laser processing can be carried out.
